We sit all day for days, weeks, months and years at a time and yet how did we get here? How do we come to sit? How do we leave sitting to stand, walk, run or dance? In this Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Series, we will explore the developmental origins of this everyday activity and many possibilities for the variety of simple and more complex movements involved. Every lesson will introduce yet another way to sit, more easily, more gracefully, more comfortably and with more curiosity and joy.
