When you drop something in the water, it creates a ripple effect–forces orthogonal to the line of gravity expand outward, disturbing the surface of the water by generating waves that in turn generate new effects. Precession happens, side effects. We can encourage or mute them, spell them out or let them work in the periphery. Draw a line, trace the effects, the effects of the effects, and so on….
5 hour session. Newsprint, charcoal, cardboard.
