Contrapposto. One hip higher than the other, one shoulder dropped.

What is the spine doing in relation to the tilt of the pelvis? Which leg is the model standing on? Which leg do you, the artist, favor?

Attending to our own sensations and movement, we take up the study of figure drawing, pulling themes and subjects from an invigorated art history.

Weekly 3 hour sessions. Mats, drawing boards, charcoal and newsprint.
